About
Dylan Thomas's stage play "The Doctor and the Devils" comes to the big screen in this 1980s adaptation directed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Freddie Francis (The Elephant Man, Glory). Unable to supply enough fresh cadavers for an eager 18th century doctor (Timothy Dalton), two ne'er-do-wells (Jonathan Pryce and Stephen Rea) resort to murder. But when they target the doctor's girlfriend (Twiggy), things get messy.
